The notary serves as the impartial arbitrator of the contracts he receives and acts as the advisor to individuals, businesses, and local authorities; he upholds the morality and security of contractual relationships.

Danielle Low

Danielle holds a master’s degree in law, with a specialisation in business law, from Aix–Marseille University, France.

She qualified as a Notary and was awarded the Chamber of Notaries prize for the 1987 Notaries’ Examinations organized by the Council of Legal Education of Mauritius.

Danielle has been elected Reporter (1989), Secretary (1990 – 1991) and Chairperson (2006 – 2007) of the Association of Notaries of Mauritius.

Danielle is the notary of leading companies from both the private and public sectors in Mauritius and of international corporations. She is a real estate specialist with a focus on corporate law and has been involved in the setting up of many projects.

Civil Law Notary

Veronique Low

Veronique holds an LLB (Hons) from the University of Warwick, UK.

She is a qualified Barrister after having called to the Bar of England & Wales at the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn in 2014 and admitted to the Mauritian bar in 2015.​

Veronique has successfully passed the Notaries’ Examinations held by the Council for Vocational and Legal Education in Mauritius in 2017 and is now practising as a Notary alongside her mother at Etude Low.

Veronique is a real estate expert and regularly advises land promoters and property developers on the legal structure, investment mechanism, regulatory requirements and tax implications for their projects.
